Peter Kennett brings over 35 years of real estate negotiation experience to his role as an expert freelance Property Advisor and Auctioneer.

Peter, was born and raised in Euroa in country Victoria, and built a successful real estate career spanning decades in Melbourne’s Bayside and the Mornington Peninsula with 3 high profile boutique agencies, before starting his own advisory business – Peninsula Auctions and Property Advice.

He relishes the opportunity to share his passion for auctioning properties for the very best result, at the same time advising his extensive network of clients to assist in achieving their property dreams.

With his vast real estate knowledge, Peter assists in selecting suitable Real Estate Agents to sell their properties and help qualified Buyers negotiate the purchase of a property. With his highly experienced, independent and “unbiased approach”  he is able to advise his clients during all market conditions, especially during these unprecedented times.

Regarded by his peers and clients as a master negotiator and highly skilled Auctioneer, Peter has conducted more than 7000 auctions and sale transactions.

His strong rural upbringing and long equine experience, industry longevity, knowledge, and negotiation skills in all market conditions, give him a vital edge in a highly competitive environment. Peter still gets a thrill out of negotiating and getting the best outcome for his vendors and buyers. He believes each negotiation is different from the next and each requires a unique approach.

In his leisure time, you’ll find Peter at his property on the Mornington Peninsula spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He loves horse riding, golf, snow skiing, power walking, yoga, travelling and visiting the Peninsula’s restaurants and wineries. Passionate about sports, he is an avid football fan and a proud follower of the Hawthorn Football Club.
